Swansea Belmont Nippers

Our 2026/2027 Nipper Season will start Sunday 11 October and run through to Sunday 21 February 2027 with age groups ranging from U6s through to U14s.   Nippers is held most Sundays throughout the season, 9.00am arrival for a 9.30am start.

*Nipper registrations are now open for returning members and new members with age groups filling up quickly.

U8s age group is full and closed for 2026/2027 season.

Our junior surf lifesaving nipper program introduces lifesaving to children from 5 to 14 years. Held at Blacksmiths Beach on Sunday mornings, our nipper program is conducted on one of the safest beaches in our region.  Our aim is to teach kids basic surf skills and surf survival techniques in a fun and safe space.  Kids experience water confidence activities including skills of wading and dolphin diving through to surf swimming and board riding.  Kids also engage in beach activities like running, relays and beach flags.  Our focus is also teaching kids team building skills and providing a socially fun environment for them to have fun with friends.
